Behind the grade.

Yara Mokhless is a Cairo-based senior colorist whose work pairs a refined visual sensibility with meticulous technical craft. She holds a Master’s degree in Audiovisual Postproduction from Barcelona (UAO CEU), where she studied under Professor Lara Vilanova, developing an approach grounded in color theory, color psychology and cinematic storytelling. Her approach combines technical precision with a sensitivity to mood, shaping images that support the cinematography and deepen the emotional character of each project.

Her portfolio spans collaborations with leading directors and cinematographers across the US, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Dubai, including productions streaming on Netflix and WATCH IT. Having led a color grading team, she brings creative direction, technical precision and a meticulous eye to every frame, working in person or remotely.
